With the redesigned BMW 3 Series and all-new 4 Series coupe already on the streets, you knew the M3 and M4 were on there way. Prior to their impending debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January, someone, somewhere managed to leak these two out on the web. But we’re not complaining. The M3 sedan (looking handsome in a sultry blue) and the M4 Coupe (in an Austin Yellow Metallic) look the part of the performance machines we’ve been waiting for.
In 1962, Ferrari announced the 250 GTO. In 2012, it announced the F12berlinetta — a sort of successor to said classic touring car. But in a few years, we’re bound to see yet another gorgeous Ferrari in the Maranello-based automaker’s lineup, and we hope it looks this drop dead gorgeous.
If this is the first you are reading of rumors regarding the (hopefully) upcoming new Toyota Supra, this is probably the first time you’re reading our site. We’ve offered plenty of speculation and the latest from the rumor-mill. We even put together an original rendering of what this mean machine could look like (which you can see here). But is a Supra concept actually headed to Detroit?
Wait no longer pony car faithful — the 2015 Ford Mustang has arrived (at least we think). According to a number of sources originating from SVTPerformance, this is the new Mustang in the flesh on the upcoming issue of Autoweek. And it looks handsome, sort of.
Remember when Lamborghini unveiled the Veneno and comparisons of a fighter jet came to mind? Yeah, well Lamborghini took those comments to heart, and revealed the all-new Veneno Roadster on the flight deck of an Italian aircraft carrier in Abu Dhabi.
Apple, one of the most powerful brands in the world, has nearly done it all. Computers, iPods, iPads, TVs — you name, it they’ve done it. But there is one thing that former ceo Steve Jobs never got around to — a car.
That’s where design student Shane Baxley comes in, previewing what could have been with his futuristic Apple iGo concept car. Of course, this isn’t your average concept. Power is conceptualized in the form of an electric motor, with a 0-60 mph time of only five seconds and an mind-boggling 300 mpg. Welcome to the future, indeed.
famous infamous for adding a touch of insanity to some of the world’s most capable sportscars. Like the Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari F12, and many others before it, the McLaren MP4-12C was the latest in a long lineup to get the DMC treatment. But insanity isn’t always a bad thing.
If you haven’t already noticed, we made our way west to check out this year’s LA Auto Show– and there was a lot to see! We’ve already taken note of the Jaguar F-Type, Chevy Colorado and Subaru WRX, just to name a few, but there were plenty of other new reveals worth noting.
Here’s our recap of this year’s LA Auto Show:
When the Saleen S5S Raptor concept made an appearance in Detroit a few years back, we were just one of many publications drooling over this masterpiece of performance and design. It was a much-needed breath of fresh air following the S7. But since then, Saleen hasn’t produced anything to follow it’s highly-touted supercar — at least, until now.
There was a lot to see at this year’s LA Auto Show. Obviously the Jaguar F-Type was a huge hit, so was the Chevy Colorado and Subaru WRX as well. But there was one ride that stole the spotlight as much, if not more so than the rest. It’s the Youabian Puma, and it’s completely insane.
