But aside from a subtly gorgeous exterior, complete with custom wheels, exhaust, front and rear diffusers- underneath the hood is where is mid-engined beauty stretches its legs. The 5.2L V10 was turned up to produce 600-hp and manage a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of just about 3.5 seconds. Quicker than a standard R8, wouldn’t you know.
The new VW Bug isn’t really anything to shake a stick at; it’s mostly underpowered, questionably better looking and overall feels cheep to the touch. But slam that joint and throw it on a set of Vossen CV3′s and it makes for one lean, clean German machine.

Back in 2007, the Lord of Denim himself, Jay Leno, was in the market for a custom, street-legal Corvette based off everyone’s favorite C6R race car. At the time though, such a thing did not exist. That is until GM stepped in- and with the help of tuning house Pratt & Miller, created this one-of-a-kind Corvette C6RS for Leno and a few others to enjoy.
While Toyota and Honda may be content to roll out a full product line devoid of a true sportscar, you can always count on Nissan for Japanese performance. Long the purveyor of the much-loved sportscars such as the GT-R and the Z, Nissan has always kept us satisfied. While the GT-R may be just out of many enthusiasts’ price range, the 370Z is an incredibly attractive proposition, and the Nismo 370Z is the most fetching of them all. Honestly, I was ready to check out Fast & Furious 6 when it hit theaters next month. I was totally pumped after seeing the excellent collection of vehicles from the new movie, including a Jensen interceptor and Dodge Charger Daytona. There is all manner of custom cars too, including that amazing sled that flips over police cars. I was pumped, and then I saw this final trailer, and I could give a shit less. Allow me to explain.

This is exemplified by his decision to customize a Lamborghini Gallardo to look like a Hot Wheels. Ugh.
If you were looking for something to be frightened of today, look no further. This is one mean and clean Audi RS5. Developed in partnership by Vossen and OSS Designs, this gorgeous piece of German engineering is one monstrous looking ride.
It was back at the LA Auto Show last year that we saw the proposed first images of the blue and beautiful Saleen Mustang 351 concept. This 700-hp supercharged pony car was the company’s revival, via the return of founder Steve Saleen.
A while back, Swedish tuning firm Polestar debuted an amazing 500-plus-horsepower version of the S60. Soon after, Volvo rolled out a C30 with a Polestar pack that did little to satisfy our desire for a spec’d-up Swedish sled. Now, the Volvo S60 Polestar has been unveiled, and it has done a much better job of appeasing Swedish speed freaks- but did not go all the way.
