We told you back in January that those stinky Europeans wouldn’t be getting their hands on the all-new Viper. And, well, as far as Chrysler is concerned- they’re still not. But GeigerCars- a German-based outlet for American cars abroad- thinks otherwise.
Taking up where Chrysler left off, GeigerCars hopes to import any number of serpents to the motherland, but all at a price of €139,900 ($180,930)- nearly double of what the Viper is going for here in the states ($97,395).
I’m all for automotive personalization. My wagon’s rear windows are plastered with Reverend Horton Heat, Deke Dickerson and the Ecco-Fonics and Liquid Dreams Surf Shop stickers. Hell, half the wagon is covered with woodgrain shelf paper. Nevertheless, there is adhesive-backed festoonery that telegraphs to everyone in traffic that you’re at best, a nitwit, and at worst, possibly a serial killer. Continue Reading »
Fisker is dead; I think we all know that by now. And amidst the CEO walking out on the company and a number of lawsuits courtesy of the U.S. Government, there still might be some tiny shimmer of hope at the end of this mostly bleak tunnel.
Former GM CEO, Bob Lutz- founder of VL Automotive, lest you forget- and Chinese company Wanxiang, reportedly might be in the market for Fisker after all is said and done.
We love us some SRT. The performance wing of Chrysler can be credited with not only delivering one of the baddest SUVs of all time in the Grand Cherokee SRT, but also for resurrecting the Viper, a V-10 racing beast. Our engine news today concerns a new powerplant worthy of the latter. Reports indicate that a new supercharged V8 engine is set to debut, delivering upwards of 600 horsepower, and would make its way under the hood of the next-generation Challenger, among other vehicles.

This custom 2007 Pratt & Miller Chevrolet Corvette C6RS is up for grabs on eBay right now until May 19th, with a current bid of $110,100.
About This Car
Back in 2007, the Lord of Denim himself, Jay Leno, was in the market for a custom, street-legal Corvette based off everyone’s favorite C6R race car. At the time though, such a thing did not exist. That is until GM stepped in- and with the help of tuning house Pratt & Miller, created this one-of-a-kind Corvette C6RS for Leno and a few others to enjoy.
Sigh…to be a member of the Dubai Police force. Not only do they patrol some of the wealthiest streets in the world, filled with some of the most exotic vehicles known to man, but on occasion, they also get to drive said exotics as well.
Ferraris, Bentleys, Lamborghinis- all coated in the signature white and green police formal. Why do they get to drive all of these sweet exotic supercars though compared to, say, the Nantucket police dept.? Mostly because they’re loaded up to the gills with cash, and also maybe because they’re a bit of attention whores. But who can blame ‘em- only question is, where the hell do we sign up?
The new Viper is a whole boatload of badassery. The monstrous 8.4L V10, still in tact from previous generations churns out even more power- 640, to be exact. But the Viper GTS-R on the other hand, is a whole ‘nother animal. One coated in ALMS gear and given a new lease on life on the track.
If you’ve ever had an inclination to listen to the musings of a country music station, chances are you’ve heard the name Tim McGraw at one point or another. The longtime musician planted his roots in Nashville and has since had his ten gallon hat plastered amongst some of the all time music greats. Car designer though? Eh, maybe not so much.
I’ve seen It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World at least 300 times since the age of six, and for years, I was convinced that the vehicle Terry-Thomas drove was a Land Rover. The Willys Wagon he actually drove just seemed so, well, “British,” I guess, especially with Lt. Col. Algernon Hawthorne behind the wheel.
