We’re only a few days away from the most anticipated holiday of the year, and Santa and his crew are up in the North Pole getting ready to dish out the goods. 364 days worth of making lists and checking them twice. Of course, they’re finding out who’s naughty, and who’s nice.
But there’s one problem — the whole sleigh and reindeer thing. It’s just getting old. So, here are seven upgrades we had in mind for making deliveries this year:
The measure of any good sleigh is how it wears the color red. And the Jeep Cherokee SRT wears it well. Of course, other factors include space, power and durability — and the Cherokee doesn’t disappoint in that sense either.
But say Santa wants something from an automaker a little closer to home. This Volvo V60 wagon is the ultimate present mover this Christmas. In Polestar trim, the big man can even get up to 350-hp from a turbocharged six-cylinder.
Ok, while the V60 and Cherokee are easy choices, the Koenigsegg Agera R — with its 1,140 horsepower (!) — is made for speed. It even has pretty decent handling in snow and enough room on top for a ski box.
Unlike the Koenigesgg though, the Land Rover Defender can plow through any situation site unseen. Snow is no match for this ultimate sleigh.
If you’re looking for the perfect combination of power, capability and space, look no further than the Ferrari FF. It’s an Italian pony car built for the snow, and the 6.3-liter V12 is more than Rudolph could ever manage. (Besides who needs that annoying nose when you’ve got several rows of LEDs pointed at the road ahead?!)
What do you think Santa should drive this Christmas?
