We here in America have several prestigious vintage supercar shows, including the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, Pebble Beach Concours and Amelia Island. That said, Britain has its collection including the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, and the lesser-known Salon Privé.
Now in its 8th year, Salon Privé is featuring a new Concepts & Prototypes display, and the centerpiece of that new installment is the Ford Evos Concept.
Unveiled in 2011, the Evos Concept was the design study that would eventually lead to the handsome current-generation Ford Fusion. The Evos features gullwing-style doors, a fastback design and a lithium-ion plug-in hybrid powertrain.
According to Salon’s sales director David Bagley, “We are delighted to welcome Ford to Salon Privé for the first time with its innovative EVOS concept which will feature within the brand new Concepts and Prototypes Display.”
If you are in Britain from the 4th to the 6th of September, you can check out the Ford Evos Concept at this prestigious motor show.
