Here we go again, another car taken through photoshop and given a new ass. Except this one’s a bit different, this is from Callaway, aka, guys who actually build one-off Corvettes for a living. So chances are, it might actually get built.
The surprisingly good looking concept bears all the sharp lines of the new Corvette Stingray coinciding with a swooping and angular rear end to match. And thanks to Callaway’s proprietary Resin Transfer Molding process, the new hatch should be strong, but light enough not to bog down the beast.
Callaway says that its version of a Corvette shooting brake will be produced if there is enough of a demand for it and says it should cost the owner no more than $15,000. All this wagon paired to a 6.2L V8 will even still reach 200 mph.
