What’s Inside Jay Leno’s Garage?

Late night TV host Jay Leno has always had some of the most prized and pristine vehicles in his garage. His latest addition, hailing all the way from the UK: a 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish. The sleek, baby blue coupe clocks in at a nice $300,000 and boasts a dangerous and powerful 565-hp V-12 under its hood.

Garaga’s garage doors have housed many a hot rod, but Leno’s new British ride is a cut above. The Vanquish is the car sportscars dream about. Possessing a 5.9 liter V-12 and putting out the aforementioned 565 horsepower and 457 lb feet of torque, the Vanquish is able to reach 60 mph in just over four seconds. Its top speed is reputedly 183 mph. The body is made with carbon weave and weighs in at around 3,750 pounds. The interior is remarkably comfortable, not cramped at all and has a range of both retro and futuristic controls. Early performance reviews suggest that this car is as fun to drive as it is to look at.

What other cars does the late-night host have in his garage? Here are a few more:

Jay Leno has quite the stable of classic cars and classic sportscars, including the unique 1966 Toyota 2000GT, which is not only a James Bond car, but was the inspiration for the equally unique Supra that became popular in the 80s and 90s. Jay’s car is a pale greenish-white with an open top. The car was only produced between 1967 and 1970.

Another classic is the 1964 Honda SM600. This car is an upgraded special version of the Honda S600, which first came out in 1964. The S600 is a classic roadster all by itself, but Jay’s steely blue, mint SM600 is somewhat of a rarity. Speaking of rarities, the 1966 NSU Spider built between the years of 1964 and 1967 was the first car in production to run with a Rotary Wankel engine. In looks, it was less remarkable, sporting the classic small roadster lines.

Of course, Jay Leno is perhaps even more well-known for the amazing super cars he has in his garage. The Aston Martin Vanquish is just one of these. He also possesses a Bugatti Veyron, several Corvettes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and many more. The 2008 SSC Ultimate Aero, once dubbed the fastest production car in the world, would catch the eye of any car collector. Jay Leno not only has one of these cars, but also the car that broke its record, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

The top speed of this record breaker? A cool 267.86 mph. How about the Spyker C8 Laviolette or the Zenvo ST-1? Both rare European sports cars with racing lines. These cars are only the tip of the iceberg of Jay Leno’s collection. The rest of his amazing collection can be found at his website at Jay Leno’s Garage.
