Tuning houses from around the world are dreaming of the day they can finally get up close and personal with the all-new Chevy Corvette Stingray. Texas-based proprietors of ridiculous Hennessey included.
The tuning shop is responsible for such creations as the famed 1,244-hp Hennessey Venom GT, or the Cadillac CTS-V VR1200, among others. They now hope to get wrist-deep in the Corvette Stingray with both supercharger and twin-turbo options.
The original 450-hp developed from the 6.2L V8 will be boosted to 700-hp with the addition of a supercharger and somewhere between 800- and 1,000-hp with the twin-turbo kit. Brembo brakes, a cold air induction system, a new cat-back exhaust and new wheels and tires will also be included in both packages.
Oh, and did we mention; it will most definitely exceed 200 mph, of course.
