Miami, Florida-based Active Autowerke took a trip overseas to visit with Spain’s very own DSLC (Dub Style Luxury Cars) Performance for a special E46 BMW M3 project referred to as the “Spanish Fly.” And fly it is.
With mods stemming from an Active Autowerke stage 2 supercharger kit, a meth-injection system (ed. note: not what you think!), K&N intake, forge blow-off valve and an AP Racing clutch and flywheel set, the total output for the Spanish conquistador sits at a healthy 592 ponies.
Outside, the older chassis and styling of the E46 bear to a more signature and recognizable persona, including the sophisticated drop-top. The body panels are coated in a Porsche-based white hue, with accents coming in the form of CA Performance wings and an edgy Vorsteiner hood. Inside, the Bimmer was fit with a complete Alpine audio system, Dakota Leather upholstery and silver carbon fiber trim pieces.
From the added horsepower to a one-of-a-kind custom look, this Spanish Fly certainly has us seeing stars!
