Remember last week when you showed you two teaser images of what us, along with others believed to be a new Nissan coupe inspired by the GT-R? Yeah, well, it’s not that. It’s actually pretty far from that. What this is, is an EXTREM look into the future Nissan styling department.
Debuting on the first press day of the 27th annual Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, this is the first car specifically designed and produced for the Brazilian streets in order to show Nissan’s continuing commitment to the emerging market.
Sharing the same platform as the North American Versa, the 2+2 Extrem concept shares many design cues up front from the GT-R, 370Z and even the Altima sedan.
Powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the Extrem is predicted to come with 188-hp and available all-wheel drive.
Don’t expect this extreme model anywhere in the future Nissan lineup though, as officials stated there are no immediate plans for production but that it offers more of a glimpse into future products.
