Everyone mark this date down on your calendars: Sunday, January 13th, 2013, because if new reports are any indication, that is the first day Chevy will pull the covers off its all-new C7 Corvette at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
After what seemed like years of speculation as to the identity of the all new ‘Vette, complete with a healthy heaping of renders, speculations and prices galore, we know now that we’re going to have to wait until 2013.
While GM has kept the whole project on lockdown up until the release, we do expect the C7 to come still with a V8, although reduced to a 5.5L displacement, and even possibly a seven-speed manual transmission.
Along with a whole new body style, the new ‘Vette will receive an update of the classic crossed flag banner to a sharper, more futuristic styling.
Expect the C7 in all of its glory when it makes it’s 2013 NAIAS debut next January.
