Welcome back to another installment of the best Instagram photos of #boldride. There’s been no shortage of car porn this week what with the Paris Motor Show dominating the news and Facebook feeds of car fans the world over. So now that you’ve gorged yourself on the high brow hype of concept cars, Lana Del Rey selling her soul to the good folks at Jaguar, booth babes, and more electric hybrid super cars than you could shake a baguette at, allow us to reintroduce you to reality.
Here are the ten coolest shots shared by real gear-heads this week on Instagram:
Technically this isn’t a concept car since we have no idea what car this is. All we know is it looks crazy, and could have been shot by someone’s handy dandy iPhone 5 this week during the 2012 Paris Motorshow. Any clues and or hints would help us sleep a lot better. Shared by amazingcars1234
As usual there was no shortage of Nissan GT-R’s in our feed. But this particular one, with its martian/nuclear green matte wrap caught our eye. Shared by antype
Apparently green isn’t the only crazy color you can wrap your GT-R in. There’s was this GT-R shared by autotrend, which looks like Godzilla suffered a midlife crisis and regressed into Barney the Dinosaur. Which, in a way, is kind of cool because this GT-R is likely far from stock. According to Men’s Health Magazine the leading cause of male suicide under the age of 50 is watching a purple GT-R pull away from your Lamborghini (insert model here) at an increasing rate of speed.

Amazing what you find just parked on the curb in London. This gray 599 GTO was shot by gilles_ancion.
While superstreet shared this shot of it’s hardcore twins. Not one, but two matte 599xx’s.
Lamborghini launched a facelifted version of the Lamborghini Gallardo in Paris this week. But the “old” LP560-4 is still one of the best looking cars out there. Which begs the question: how do you take your gallardo? Credit goes to one man tasked with snapping pictures of sick Lamborghinis: thatphotographer.
majestic_cars was kind enough to share this “asstagram” of the sublime Pagani Huayra. Active aero is nothing new, but Pagani has somehow managed to combine the engineering-nerdgasm of moving flaps with the elegance of high Italian design that has eluded so many before.
EVO’s Harry Metcalfe recently drove the Huayra along with the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse while in Italy. We’ll have that video, and more, for you later this weekend. In the meantime keep tagging your shots #boldride, and we’ll do our best to feature it in next week’s top 10.
