Don’t ask me dumb questions, Mazda. Of course I want 205-hp in my MX-5, and yes, an orange paint job does look cool. Hell, if we could, we would shove a V8 in there and drive it off some ramp and through a flaming hoop with an American flag paint job. Why? I don’t know, but that’s besides the point.
The little MX-5/Miata is a great car, but we always knew it was lacking a bit of manliness, some grunt. Now, Mazda finally said ‘Ok’ and graced us with the GT concept, complete with 205 hp, an upgraded suspension, a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser and spoiler.
If that’s still not enough, Mazda gave it some free flowing exhaust, Recaro racing seats and some extra sticky tires. All this for the Goodwood Festival of Speed (that happened last weekend, didn’t you notice?) where it made the famous hill run.
To put the cherry on top of the MX-5 GT sundae, Mazda wants you to tell them whether you would want one in your driveway or not. So then, get to tweetering or facebooking(or whatever the hell you kids do these days) and tell them how sweet the GT really is.
